@Erot79
If I had called it SUPER AudioPlayer, I would have agreed with you, but as you can see, the plugin is called SIMPLE Audio Player, and I never said it would do more than what it already does. I know and use many other plugins that don't do what you say, but that doesn't mean they're rubbish. Thanks for the review anyway, i'll try to upgrade it with at least the first 2 of yours requests.
I think you really misunderstood the goal of my report. It was to help you, and make your thing better. I don't know what is your background, but you really have to realize that your plugin is un-usable. The first comment you got on this discussion litterally says one of the thing I reported "no trigger".
You can put this however you like ( the basic mandatory save feature does not make a plugin super, nor no saving make it simple), this plugins, right now, requires the user to understand where the plugin is, open the edit window and start the music from the plugin UI. Which is NOT possible from someone who has not the creator level or any basic player who is just enjoying scenes.
The goal of a plugin is to store settings inside of the scene to let player enjoy the scene how they created it when they load it later. You really have to understand that your implementation is not useful until it does that, and if your objective is to at least, give something interesting to the community... to understand how all this works and give them a working, tested and feature complete plugin.
You were saying that "some people appreciated it more than me", clearly... people appreciating it haven't tested it properly... I can guarantee that 100%. I had reviews on my content in the past that have been posted in the 15mins of the release, which even tho I appreciate the intention, is clearly someone who has not even tested the content... they're just reviewing because they probably like my content.
My
"update your code and make this a functioning plugin and maybe I'll rate it." is a bit straight forward and harsh, but the intent was just to motivate you to get an additional positive review. I spent time testing and giving you pointers instead of immediately reviewing it badly which I could have done and call it a day.
There is no reason for me to keep a negative review if you update it and support your resources. You are free to choose however you publish and manage your content, but don't be surprised that people will give actual honest feedback which obviously does not always align with "what you think is a proper plugin". Usability drives reviews... not what you expect/think your plugin is.
Finally, all the above this is from a friendly creator perspective. From a moderator perspective, you've been dodging twice the credit problem I've been mentionning. Please, once again, you have a mandatory obligation to enforce licencing on your content properly. Add the proper credits to your release page, thank you.
