I need to use a plugin or asset to make an electric spark.
In your opinion, what would make the best electrical flash or arcing effect?
One that would be animated would be good too.

Not entirely sure what you need exactly, but it sounds like you need some fancy particle effects. I'd recommend checking out Xstatic's page. They've got tons of pretty cool particle effects as CUAs, including some that look pretty close to electrical sparks. On the off chance they don't have what I need I can normally tweak it in-game to make it close to what I need.

I actually downloaded this today for a scene I'm working on and can second this opinion. Farger's pack is some quality work.
