Miki submitted a new resource:

Mei Hairstyle - My take on Mei's traditional hairstyle

My take on Mei's traditional hair style. This hair is meant specifically for use with Rukk's Mei morph, use on other character's may have oddities. You can get her (and the hairpin!) here:

This hair was a commission request from Urbanator, look here to support his great work:

For the hair itself, follow the download button to get it for free!

I'm a bit confused as to how to remove the existing old hair from the Mei model? When I go into Hair settings and filter by "Active Only" the old hair is not showing up in list?? (only Hair Creator and No Hair)

Mei's old hair is actually a clothing item, so if you do that same thing in the clothing tab you should find it! Then just replace it with mine from the hair tab.

I actually noticed when I changed the clothes by loading a clothing preset! Its funny how her hair is the main thing that makes her Mei. When she has bald head, she looks nothing like Mei

That tends to be the case with many characters! That's honestly one of the main reasons I enjoy creating hair so much, I feel like so many looks just aren't complete without it.

Oh sure. You're right. Good, dense hair is hard on the GPU though.... that's some head of hair on your avatar model ;)

Yeah it can be a bit intense! I have reduced the density on the one in my avatar so it's actually not as bad as it looks! I can load her without any performance hit, as long as it is just one of her.
