looks not showing in the select existing looks area

I downloaded some looks on the VAM hub but I cant seem to find them when I look in the select existing like the tutorial says. Am I missing something?

This tutorial deals with appearance presets. Not everyone includes appearance presets when sharing a look, often just a scene, so you need to make you own appearance preset from the scene's person.

How would you make your own appearance pre set because I can't find it in the video unless I'm missing it, Thanks for the help.
