Question locked out of UI panel

So I have run across this 3 times now, I load a scene and it runs ok, but I can't toggle on the UI with mouse or "U" key. Which means I cant load a new scene and have to use Windows Task Manager to close and restart VAM. Is this somehow intended?

Thanks for the reply. Not VR just desktop. I RE-tried with the error log open first, it threw 2 errors about mp3 files - trying to get from custom folder that doesn't exist in the var. BUT it opened ok, and I had access to UI. ?? Have noticed in the past that some addon's do not unload when changing scenes. Wish I could remember sequence. drat!

Not sure if is just a placebo effect for me, but if I put Postmagic as far away form the player position, It seen to be less of a problem.
