Hi all, I downloaded many "look" (characters), but when i want to load them, i basically know how to do it only if they are presented within a scene. if not, I cant found them in vam software although all files are downloaded.
for example: if right now im in a scene and want to change my character look into the look i downloaded, how do i do so? up until now i use "load look" on control and physics tab, but there arent many options there.

thanks!

Most people use appearence presets to save models now. It saves all the same stuff as legacy 'looks' but doesn't overwrite the atom name or head audio, which can break some scenes. Click on the appearence preset tab and load existing.

There is another way besides what Origin69 suggested. You can use JayJayWon's Browser Assist to "Import" a character from an existing scene into your current active scene. You can even select whether to also load or not load clothes etc. It's really powerful.

I also save the Appearance Presets as Origin69 suggested - but only for looks that I like and plan on re-using. The import approach with Browser Assist allows you to sample new downloads quickly without the extra step of opening a scene to save an Appearance.

BTW, as you start import characters from other scenes, you may start to wonder "why does the character look so different than the thumbnail?" This has to do with lighting. The creator who made the original scene handcrafted the environment. Meanwhile, you're taking the appearance out of context and dropping it into a wholly different lighting environment. It may look drastically different.
