Where can I find the gifs you are using here?

I’m afraid you’ll have to source them yourself due to licensing considerations. But if you shoot me a message on Discord at vampixcollections, I might be able to steer you in the right direction.

Been waiting for this plugin for like seven years. Can't wait to use it! ❤️

Your plugin is truly impressive – I love it. However, I've encountered a UV mapping issue that I'd like to report.

The plugin seems to split the torso UV map into two separate halves (upper and lower). But the torso UV already covers the entire torso including the hip/buttock area – there is no need to split it at all. Worse, the lower half (which should be the hip/buttock region) is incorrectly assigned to the genital UV instead, causing texture misalignment on that area.

I believe the correct approach is to keep the torso UV intact and handle the genital UV separately, rather than splitting the torso map.

Thank you for your excellent work!

Wow, thank YOU for the kind words! And for taking the time for a detailed report

The plugin assigns materials based on their names, and I accidentally included "hip/hips" in the genital material list, which caused those materials to be incorrectly assigned to the genital overlay. I'll have this fixed in the next update, most likely by the end of the week. I'm giving it a little more time so I can gather any other issue reports that come in and address them in the same update.

the plugin is working completely fine for me except for gifs on the iris. i've tried messing with settings but i just can't get them to work at all. for me the eye just loses it's normal color, but the gif doesn't show no matter where i place it (opacity is at 100%). do i need to do something different for the iris decals to work? this model is the basic model with no clothes on the eyes that might be covering the decal, and the gif works on every other layer except the irises.

edit: also it seems i am unable to put gifs on the gens area regardless of if i select the "Gens" or "Torso" layers

Irises should work, they just don't use a decal slot.

Skin regions (face, torso, limbs, gens) go on _DecalTex, so the original skin still shows through. The iris shader has no decal map, so Live Decals has to replace the iris diffuse map (_MainTex). That's why the eye loses its normal iris texture: it isn't overlaying, it's swapping the whole map. Empty parts of the canvas won't show the old iris.

The shader still tints that map with Diffuse Color on the Person's iris materia. A dark diffuse multiplies the GIF and can hide it even at 100% opacity. Set Diffuse Color to white so the GIF shows at its real colors.

I'll address the other issue in the next update. Thank you for taking the time to report this

Edit: I didn't realize you're using a dark GIF on the iris. Dark colors won't show. The unused canvas is empty (black/transparent), so a dark GIF sits on a black map with almost no contrast. On skin, transparent pixels still show the body, but on iris they don't. Try a bright colored GIF.
