Feel I'm going slightly crazy with lip sync.
Sometimes, when a spoken line ends, the mouth stays frozen in a pose (probably a viseme). Then you try the exact same line and it works perfectly. Tried everything, from clamps, to volume, physics and normal driven, various options from drive jaw from audio, and got no stability
End results seem completely random.
I don't care about the effect when speaking a line. I only wanted the mouth to reset when the line was over.

I know the system is a bit finicky, but does anyone have any tips for having the mouth reset to default after a line?
Cheers

Solution
Hazmhox meant it as a VAM2 teaser functionality, but I also arrived to the same interpretation as you did.
Uncheck the jaw morphs checkbox (triggerable) or what is called before you disable vammoan, that's the one that gives the weird mouth open bits,

Try another audio file and check the morphs tab if there are still viseme morphs active after the audio ends.

If you already tested the built in LipSync extensively: Give the old rts LipSync plugin a shot. Maybe that's better suited for your task/audio.

Good call on visemes. I could always zero them, but I wanted to know if there was a more automatic way, to avoid putting yet more timeline triggers in.
I think I tried the old LipSync. Can't recall how it perform. Maybe it's worth a try.

I would not use the lip sync plugin as it will create a host of potential new problems.
My guess, you are using or is just enabled VAMMoan 1 while the person is talking. VAMMoan 2 doesn't have this issue, but you can also disable VAMM 1 before the person speaks and reactivate after speaking.

Thought VAMMoan 2 was just a teaser at this point. Shoud've looked into it.
You guessed right. I used some triggers to interrupt VAMMoan but it is still erratic. Maybe just needs some fine tuning.

Done. In previous tests they were behaving, but I'm gonna assume this is a permanent fix as I'm too bushed to do anything else. (y)
