Hey.

I'm running into a lighting issue in my scene. Basically, depending on the distance from my character, the lighting falls on them differently.

In the screenshots you can see that from the same position, just changing the FOV changes how the light hits the character.

At the closest FOV, the whole character basically glows. Same issue happens when physically moving the camera toward or away from the character.

Any idea how to fix this?

If the lights are set to Auto, they will be in Pixel mode close up, and drop to Vertex mode farther away. If you have too many lights in a scene, this can be aggravated. Check the Pixel Light Count in the Preferences tab. Either increase that number, or reduce the number of lights. If your computer is beefy, it won't mind more pixel lights. If the lights are set to Auto, try setting the ones closest to the character to ForcePixel. More lights gets expensive in terms of FPS.

Wow, thanks, this is totally legit and works! Unfortunately not as good as I imagined, but still really helpful. Cheers!
