I play MMD more than anything else so here's another background. Of course it can be used for whatever you wish. Everything is set up. Just need to add your MMD plugin.
The bloom effect is high so you might want to adjust it or even turn it off.
I think the character is supposed to be located where the floor cracks are, not sure. Adjust it to your liking.

It's difficult. I don't create stages that often. You can learn Blender to create custom assets. Sometimes websites such as sketchfab have free assets to download. You will need to learn unity to convert the assets to VAM.
