VaM 1.x If I wanted to put together a guide on hub, is there any way to break it up across a bunch of separate pages?

The reason I ask: I modified a Timeline plugin and published it (you can think of it as a Timeline mod), and I’ve found that the release page is now hopelessly bloated. So I’ve been wondering whether the docs could be spread out over several pages. I’d really like to hear if anyone has some good suggestions. Please do tell me.

Right now there are roughly twenty feature modules, each with its own page. What would be ideal for me is something like this: hang a whole set of navigation links on the plugin’s release page, and whoever is interested in a particular feature just clicks the one they want, following the nav over to a guide page with video and illustrated explanations.

I think the guides are very much limited to a short, one page communication. Even at 2 pages, you'd quickly reach a point where it's short for what you need and too much for a user to cope in this guide layout.
My suggestion is to host your documentation elsewhere, personal site, a wiki, etc, like AcidBubbles does for Timeline and his other plugins.

I mainly want to put up some demo videos. For text-only introductions, I made a dedicated documentation, but I feel that still isn’t enough. If there’s anywhere suitable for hosting, please let me know!

We generally don't allow separate guides to be posted just for someone's resource, because this can easily be abused in order to get "extra views".

Here are some recommendations:

1. Save the guide in PDF format and attach the PDFs as additional attachments when you update your resource

2. Host the guides somewhere else, like your Patreon or Mega, and offer a link in your resource description

3. Place the guides in the discussion area of your resource, and link to the discussion pages from your main resource description

Thank you for your suggestion. I completely agree with your point that this could easily be abused to gain extra attention. I’d like to propose one idea: would it be possible to allow users to create a separate page that can only be accessed through a specific link, and that never appears directly in the Guides section? That way the problem would be avoided. For example, I could put a standalone guide page on my personal profile, so people would only see it after clicking into my profile, or reach it through a navigation link on my resource page.

We don't have a way for users to create their own pages on the Hub. Any of the options mentioned before should be sufficient. Hope this helps!

Seems to complicate things unnecessarily. Just release a pdf guide. it's something I wished more creators would do for large advanced plugins like your addon to timeline
