Is there a way to scroll through a vid that has a few minutes of some non interesting bits? Also, would adding the movies you're playing also in the Video Folder for the Cache folder fix some of the audio issues? I mean to make duplicates, the original folder location for the player and also in the cache folder :)

The my audio is choppy...

If the plugin doesn't have full video controls (such as skipping forwards or playing at a specific time) then you probably would have to take the video you want into some basic video editing software and crop it down. Reminds me of how we used to have windows movie maker - amateur but still useful - but microsoft ditched that for cloud based ai powered freemium garbage apps. If you don't already have something you use, there are free desktop apps and a few websites to do basic video trimming and editing.

The alternative of course is to use a website viewer instead of this local video playback plugin, because chromium web players would have the controls you would be used to. Of course, I didn't develop the plugin, so maybe there are actually more options than the hub page suggests.

Edit: There are a few other plugins that might have the functionality you need - local video playback with playback controls. For example:

Thanks! I have some of those editors and thats probably easier than messing with the plug in :)

If you are trying to build a scene for later redistribution with a video clip playing somewhere, it would probably also result in a smaller file size for the whole scene if you cut the video down to what is actually used in the scene.

Depending on what you are doing, advanced playback controls or triggers might not be needed. Some scenes might just call for a video to be looping constantly, others might just start and stop playing by triggers. Like a TV already playing in the background, or a character/player pressing on a remote and the TV turning on or off. If a scene can "jump" to the middle of where this video file would be playing, then that would require finer control over the video playback, regardless of whether or not the original video was already trimmed.

Its one of ReignMocpas cozy scenes.. I have a few vids in it but most of them have some intro stuff about a few minutes long that it would have been handy to fast forward through. Editing the actual vid let me keep a set of smaller files with the parts I would have skipped to already at the start :)
I like it better this way now anyway :)
