Hello Everyone,
Over the last several weeks you may have noticed many updates happening to the hub, such as animated banners, prominently displayed color coded licensing on resources in all categories as well as in-game.
We wanted to make you aware of one significant change as to how we handle "Paid" content postings. First off, there is no change to active user accounts created prior to June 1st 2023. However, any new accounts created after that date will need to receive permission to post to the "Paid" or "Paid Early-Access" categories.
All new accounts created will immediately have access to posting in the "Free" category, Media section and on our Forums. This will specifically only affect posting in the two categories "Paid" and "Paid Early-Access". This means that when a new account goes to post in either of those two categories they will be notified that their posting is "awaiting approval before being displayed publicly". At that point in time it enters into a queue for the moderator's to review and either approve or reject. Once approved it will automatically be pushed live. Please be aware that it may take up to 24 hours for your first PC post to be approved. Again this only affects accounts that are created after June 1st 2023.
These new additions are designed to help us better moderate Paid Content and to protect licensed content from being distributed without permission.
We hope that overall this enhances your experiences as content creators on the VaM hub. It's very important to us that as content creators you feel that we respect you and the work that you provide to the community.
