After loading VAM I get a error message shortly after clicking the "Return to Scene View" button. Although I have not loaded a scene, the error log is full of missing add-on packages. I ignored it at first because it did not appear to disrupt the function of VAM. Now it has become a nuisance. How do I fix it?

You probably have all kind of errors, from missing dependencies to other problems.
Some, like missing dependencies, can be resolved, others not so much. You should stay away from stuff shared that has missing dependencies, or when the amount of dependencies is ridiculously high (over 60) .
