Question How to make a video/gif?

I'm stratin to learnin animation's in VaM. And trying to make video. I'm using VRRenderer plugin (from Eosin or something like that). I have 2 sec. animation of blowjob. After recording i have 600 frames and audio file(don't need one btw).
So questions are:
1) Which video editor is better to use in order to get video from this frames. I could use Sony Vegas, but mybe there is something simplier.
2) Is there way to make a gif just from bunch of frames? I mean it would be too long tomake gif by using photoshop/gimp. So i want just make video and convert it into gif.

In the nutshell: I need some advices on video making. (I have some expirience with Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier, Windows Movie Maker(Win7 version) and few other "easy to use" video editors liek Movavi or whatever)

I think a lot of people here use avdemux to create videos out of the rendered frames, with music added. I do. There's an issue with matching the frame rate to the audio, but it's doable. Reading through this thread will help, though it will take some time.

Note that gif format only supports 256 colors. You get much better image quality using h264/mp4.
