Hello all. It would be great if you can help me. I try to put on a logo on a t-shirt. I read serveral docs for that but somehow I am too stupid
😇
. I press "n" to go clothes, choose for example AFVR Tight White Tshirt. Then I go on customize and then combined, Textures and then I press Create UV Template Texture. Then I press Open Folder in Windows Explorer. I edit the png-file. So far so good. Then i press Select at _Main Tex and now is my problem. I cannot see my edited file I can only see the files that are inside the VAR-File. How can I choose my edited file: Thank you so much for all your help.

My advice is to use the logo as a decal texture instead of a main texture, this way you keep the "fabric", you're just adding something on top, and that gives you more flexibility.
If your issue is to load your file, you can use the "Root" option to go to where you have your edited image, as long as you placed it somewhere inside the VAM folder.

Just to clarify what Atano said: There are two places to look for textures for this (or any) clothing item.

The first is the AFVR Tight White Tshirt subdirectory inside the var. These are for the textures that come with the clothing item var, and Vam wont add anything here.

The second is in the AFVR Tight White Tshirt subdirectory in your Vam root folder. Exactly the same folder structure as in the var, but saved locally. When you create the UV template, this is where it is put. It's also where you would put any custom generated textures.

In the image you show, you're looking at the folder inside the var (designated 1 on my image). If you click on the area in oval #2 you'll see (and be able to select) textures from the local directory.
