The game keeps stuttering constantly. But it's not just regular stutters — it freezes for 10 to 30 seconds at a time. And it happens repeatedly with varying frequency.
This never used to happen before. I've already reinstalled it completely. I suspect the issue might be with the scenes — there are 500GB of them.
But the question is: what do i have to do with it? It feels like the game is constantly loading something in the background.

I don't even know where to start. Should I delete the scenes? But then what's the point of the game?
Especially since it's impossible to tell which file belongs to which scene.

Ok. First of all — how do I clean up the scenes? How do I delete the ones I don't need?
I already tried using varManager, which creates symlinks — it's good, but for some damn reason, when I delete a scene, it also deletes the shared files along with it.

I recommend installing a clean, empty version of VaM in a different folder, with no addonpackages added or only very few, to test the issue.
If the stuttering is gone, then you might start with removing stuff with lots of morphs. I heard these are the main reason for slowing down the program, as these are all kind of preloaded.
