Hi everyone.
Usually, when I make a video, I create separate animations and then copy each timeline into a single one.
I do this because when I'm recording a video, switching between animations always causes problems.
So I create a single timeline and that solves the problem.
I usually always leave the root point in the same place so that when I copy one timeline and paste it into another, there are no movement consistency issues.
This time, I made a mistake, and I created two separate animations with root points positioned in different places.
If I copy the second animation after the first, obviously, it's a mess because the root point is in a different place, and therefore the animation is misaligned.
I solved this problem a while ago with another scene, but I don't remember how I did it.
I've been trying to solve this problem for four hours.
I know there's a detach root point, which, once moved, positions the first frame correctly, but the rest of the animation remains with the old root point settings, and therefore doesn't work.
I saw that on the Bulk Change tab there's the option to change this, like the offset options, but I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to make them work correctly.
The only thing I can do is the opposite of what I need.
I can move the character while leaving the root point where it is.
But I need the opposite.
I created an empty point positioned on the root point of the first animation so that when I activate the second, I know where the root point of the second animation should be positioned.
PLEASE HELP!!
