How to save a look as appearance...

Click on the control of your atom. you'll get a properties menu. the one on the bottom is the old way with the legacy presets the "Looks" on the control and physics tab... go up 4 spaces to the appearance preset tab. you can create a new one from any look you get on the hub and save it with customized changes.....
you can then hide the original look. you'll still need it as a reference, but your new look can be added to other scenes now. you can do the same thing with clothing, Hair, skin and soon...
Presets are your friend
there are still things you can do with the old way that would take too long to write down here. but for a quick way. this sees to be the easiest way. I forgot the reason they made the switch..
