I am trying this scene from link here: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/ankah-zone-lapdancesex-freeedition.62134/

I encountered the exact problem the author noted with a solution:

However, I am new to VaM. I tried finding the exact place to delete the Overlay the whole hour but couldn't find it. Google did not help either.
Could someone help instruct me through this? Many thanks.

I've not got the scene, but it should work like this. On the main UI, toggle "edit" mode and click the little green square button with a mouse cursor icon on it to open the "select" menu. There it will list all of the atoms in the scene. Click on the one called "_Transition". That will open it's atom control menu. Click on it's plugins tab and delete the plugin that says "overlay".

You can check the wiki here on the hub for more info on navigating the vam menu's.

Thanks for your help.
I followed your instruction and I see 1 plugin in __Transition atom, I think this one is called Timeline and not Overlay.
I don't see anything called Overlay.
And I still get the black screen error though.

This one is called _Trasition, not _Transition ... maybe just a typo and it should be the correct one, but to make absolutely sure you see all stuff in the list, make sure to check the box in the select menu that says: "Show Hidden".

That's odd. Try going through the other atoms in the list and checking their plugins too. It must be there somewhere. If you can't see it, toggle "show hidden" in the select menu.

Thanks both of you. I was able to find out that the plugin was not in __Transition like he said, but it was in _Overlays instead.
I was able to fix the black screen issue after deleting this one.

Sometimes, plugins fight. Overlays might be the victim, not the culprit, but doing this is a simple fix, once you know where to look.
