im a bit confused on how to load the character

With the Download link, the file you will get should be installed in the Addonpackage folder in your game files, just copy paste the .VAR file in there.

EXemple: K:\VaM_Updater\AddonPackages

Hey dark, I used : SCARLET SCALP, from Joyboy. + ROAC TIFA BACK, ROAC TIFA FRINGE, from roac. This should give you the same exact look as the brunette picture.

How did you get it working? Ive tried most things with no luck. I even unpacked it but no luck...

Fixed it by unpacking it and adding it to saves scene and renaming it giah. Then making it an appeaance , saving it and then adding it to a 3 point lit look
