As I discovered while doing research for my SteamVR bindings guide, there's an action that allows you to swap the free move axes. Normally, it's forward-back-left-right on the left and up-down-rotate on the right. I know that some people (left-handed people, probably) like it the other way around, so this is a good thing to have.
I think that this should also be an option in the VR User Preferences. The controller action isn't mapped to anything by default, so it may be difficult for users to find. Also, I think people would usually want it one way or the other permanently, so they wouldn't even think of looking in the controller actions.
