Shadow Venom submitted a new resource:

[ForgeLab] Sea Forge - Make your beach not just look like a beach, but feel like one. Just plug and play.

Things VAM did not have, built so that dropping them on an atom is the whole setup.

🧩 What the line is for: building the things that are not there

Or maybe some of these things did exist before, but even for me, they...

Because, at least according to the plan, it’s not just about the sand. There’s also an entire underwater world currently in development.

Bruh, there's magicians in this incredible VAM community and you're absolutely one of them. This is fantastic!

Hey Shadow, I'm just playing around with it a bit right now. It's really well done! I have a question: is it supposed to be that the area where the sand moves is limited? Or am I doing something wrong with the settings?

It’s basically an LOD setup. The Core area is confined to a box, and everything outside that box is treated as the LOD region. It’s mainly designed around the fact that in most VaM scenes, the character usually doesn’t move around over a very large area. There’s a toggle in the plugin UI that lets you visualize the actual boundaries of the Core area.

Oh, yeah, I see it now. It really is a nice toy. brilliantly made!

The default Core Box size is 24 × 24 meters, and you can expand it up to 32 × 32 meters. But honestly, 24 meters is already pretty huge, especially if you compare it to the Person atom lying there in the screenshot. In an actual scene, you’ll probably end up wanting to make it smaller rather than bigger.

If you still need more usable sand area, you can also adjust the Water Reaches slider, which is the yellow line in the image, to push the shoreline farther back.

For example, if your scene is mostly designed around the character staying on dry sand and not interacting with the water much, you can push the shoreline farther back. That gives you a much larger usable dry-sand area to work with.
