Skynet submitted a new resource:

Fingernails HD - why not?

- Upon many requests so here ya go

- 2 Fingernail variants with the same look as Toenails HD, adjusted the textures a bit aswell to make them looks extra good
1 short & 1 long variants are both included, with each having 7 color presets and 1 natural (french) preset.

- Hopefully Other Creators would find this useful to make their looks a tad bit better looking, Enjoy :D

--quick demo of presets and both variants on a model:

Thanks so much @Skynet , love these and your toenails!
Do you have any thoughts on how to make these compatible with some of the morphs in Eosin's hand/finger morphs?
Currently I find they deform quite a bit with those morphs.

@bill_prime You're very welcome! about the eosin hand morphs, i've had that same issue aswell and i ended up using the built-in hands thickness, forearms size & upper arms size to make the hands look more feminine with no issues, if it were 1 morph eosin had it would've been easy to adapt the nails to them but 50 is a lot to account for (have to make a separate clothing item version for each morph), that's also not accounting for the extra variations from mixing in between them, there is a solution which is static clothing plugin, but then again you would need 10 nails & 10 others for feet each as seperate clothing item, and with with different morphs you'd need to adjust the XYZ offsets of each one every time you change your character.
-imo the best hard solution is to have a plugin that subdivides the nails mesh area so the native ones look better without actually having to use clothing items but i don't know if that's possible to add extra vertices to the Vam gen 2 model + i don't know how to code vam plugins lol.

Right on no worries, sounds like a pain in the butt for sure, but thanks for the detail on what would be needed. I'm screwed though I used those morphs in so many looks lol. Wish there was an easy solution.

Yepp it is sadly, i wish there was an easy way but considering the upcoming Vam 2 support high resolution G8F models this problem is going to be a thing of the past since the nails can be natively 4x or 16x vertex count. we will never need to make nails as clothing again lol just custom decal textures. + support for transluscent shaders are going to make them look even more realistic
