Favourites as a category instead of tickbox?

I really like the new favourites system but it is a bit of a pain to get a list of your favourites to show, you have to click on the flattened category which takes a little while to load then tick the box to show favourites. Then I forget Favourites is ticked and I wonder why I can't select anything in other folders.

I think it would be better if favorites were their own category like the filtered and flattened categories, you could just click on that and see them all.
