Hello,
When I am trying to open the VamUpdater.EXE without any internet I get this error. I would just assume it's a requirement to have internet access but the error has shown different websites in the message before.
I thought/remember deleting the config file and MHLap.Patch.dll it fixed it and I was able to load but that is not working anymore and before I do a full reinstall I am curious if anyone knows this error?
If it is a requirement for internet access to open Updater, please let me and also advise if this site legitimate? It has had this error before with a different website/webpages which is why I am nervous.
It looks like it may belong to VAM but I am also concerned it is a 3rd party page that some file has corrupted my version and is sending me there every time I log in.
For the record I can still run DESKTOP mode without internet as long as I run the game via the VAM (Desktop Mode).bat file so it is only when I am trying to open the updater. Can someone confirm that is a requirement for everyone and if you know if that website/file is a legit.
