Question Error message when launching VAM from Steam VR

Since the steam 2.0 update I've been getting a message when I launch VAM that says: "this app can run VR natively, but you are choosing to run the desktop version", then it gives an option to cancel or launch anyway.

I'm launching VAM with the -vrmode OpenVR argument.

Anyone know if this is an actual problem or maybe just a bug with Steam VR
