Any idea what's up with the hard edge here or what might cause it? None of the settings have seemed to make a difference here. Toggling transmission on and off makes it disappear and the light's spot angle changes it's shape but not the harshness of the edge. Nothing else I've tried affects it.

How does it compare to Hunting-Succubus one?

I don't really like to compare, as I feel like I want my plugin to stand on its own. Other people are free to share how it compares, but I prefer to focus on what my shader+plugin does well.

I have a RTX 4080 super, but the main reason it looks smooth is because I make renders using Eosin's VRRenderer plugin.

Good news: this will be fixed in the next update. That hard edge was a known limitation of how the plugin measures flesh thickness and something I've struggled to fix during development, as attempts to soften this edge always broke something else. I've revisited the issue, tried a different approach and this time it worked: that edge now fades out softly. It is on by default, but it can be tuned with a slider. Thanks for the report, this one had bothered me for a long time too.
