do you want a beta version of the new patch? I'm starting to see weird issues sometimes, I think its due to me hotpatching everything using dnspyex and it not correctly recompiling unity classes. Not sure if I should continue or instead just properly implement it in vam with meshedvr.
Like others said yeah, I think most people participating and following in this thread - at least - would be happy to test a beta version of the next patch iteration. It's up to you but I'm sure most of us here would be glad to help you with that, post results, spot some glitches if any, etc.
 
Hmm.. For some reason this messed up all my [Looks] Character models and some in game functions partially like moving body joints. Looks are stuck with default female face morph and couldn't adjust morph sliders. Am I doing something wrong ><.. Srry first time trying these kinda work around patches. I followed the instruction as stated in the overview.

Hi. I do not have these types of issues. Best way to implement any paches, mods etc from my experience is to try them on a vanilla vam install first and move on from there. Suggest you roll back your install and see if you still have problems.
 
Would anyone be kind enough to upload a video to install this? I'm honestly not very familiar with a lot of the computer terms and details in the instructions and I would be very grateful if anyone could post a tutorial video or a link to one.

This patch just broke my vam, when I load a scene, the chracter is in T-Pose, the morph don't work anymore, I can't moove any character, everything sucks, don't dl this scam !
You come in minority brother, you might not have followed the instructions properly or something.

alright folks, tell me if you experience less stutters now and how much FPS you lose compared to v12. It's a beta version because sometimes I see bugs in VR and I'm not sure if they were in vanilla VaM

I found a new value in SkinMeshPartDLL.ini
  1. #affinity=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 Is this a different value from the existing affinity?
    I’m using an AMD 5600 6-core 12-thread processor with HT off.
    Should I put in the values 1,3,5,7,9,11 or should I put in the values 1~12?

whoops, its an undocumented parameter, you can try it if you want.
Basicaly it means "dont run the patch's threads on these cores, leave it for the main engine". You want to put your two fastest cores in there, the ryzen master for example shows you your fastest cores. Or you can just remove or comment it out if you dont want to use it.

the examples now have xMaxPerChar and the engineAffinity is explained in the resource description.

Are you running the most current patch? An early release had a bug where some morphs wouldn't load/be applied. This sounds like your problem.
 
Does this work out of the box? Do I need to make any edits, or do I just have to install the files?
you gain FPS just by unpacking it in the default configuration, but I strongly advise to tune it according to your CPU. You should also do the boot.config edits explained in the resource description if your GPU/GPU driver doesnt experience any graphical bugs afterwards.
