We have done some major reworking on the Community Galleries feature to accommodate an increase in user interests for posting screenshots! (A certain neural rendering plugin might have something to do with this).
We've made it much easier to add screenshots to the Community Gallery for a resource.
For those that aren't familiar, the Community Gallery is a way to contribute screenshots of your favorite resources by adding images to the Community Gallery section below the resource description.
This lets you show off how you've used someone's asset, provide examples, or just share cool screenshots. It also gives creators an opportunity to showcase variations on their content without violating policies related to what's allowed in a resource description.
What has changed
We have removed the "quick access" tool from the Media Gallery. Now, the way to add screenshots to a resource is directly from the resource's Community Gallery section itself.
Click the "Add to Gallery" button to upload your image.
You will be taken to a category chooser. Choose the correct category. For most, this is "General Items". If this is a neural rendering enhanced image, choose "DLSS5 Items".
You will then be given the option to either upload your image, or select one from your existing media items.
You can browse your existing items right from this menu. Select the ones you want to add, then confirm.
If you've uploaded a new image, a media gallery item will be automatically created. The resource will appear in the list of resources for anyone else who views your image.
This is a new feature, so if you run into any issues or have suggestions on how we could improve, please add your feedback in the #vamhub-feedback channel on our Official Discord Server.
