Has anyone had succuss in changing model face to look like a picture of someone?
I was reading all guides and watching you tubes videos. doesnt matter what I do, I get stuck at the "geometry does not match" part, and also I cannot understand how to not only create a face based on a picture - but also correctly placing it on a body.

anyone here actually did it?

I'm hoping someone will make a program that will work with AI to add an images face to an Atom.
There are many face swapping apps now.
We just need one that will work in Unity.

True but it looks we are still in the age of doing everything manually and i cant get around it

There are some pretty good Creators that make some good lookalikes.
I would go to the help forum and ask for a Creator that is willing to make you a lookalike model.

Have you tried Facegen? Its very easy to use

If you use Facegen, you need to mix it to some extent and do texture correction.
And you need to correct the morph well, and if you combine it with g2, the angled side will disappear slightly, so it can come out more similar.
However, the success rate is about 20-30%.
The fact that they came out so similar can almost be considered luck.
When transforming morphs, you should stop at this moment when it is the most similar.
If you touch it any more, it can get even weirder.

This article is my subjective opinion.
Anyway, it's difficult.

If you're stuck at that stage, then you have plenty to learn. Look for "Facegen" or tutorials on the hub to convert models to genesis 2, this question has been answered more than several times.

Unity is not the target here. Generating a Genesis compatible figure is the only need you'd have.

Yes it is. Just like simply converting / implementing a custom model from G8 to G2.
Thing is, people asking that question are not here to learn 3D modeling and spend dozens of hours on actually making a great character (which is at least what is required to make a good look a like), people are here to ask for a "one click" procedure who'd turn a couple of shots of a person to a wonderful 3D character in VAM without a single effort on their end.

The real answer to this is "it does not exists and won't be here soon (and probably ever will as actual quality art requires some human input)"

Ah, finally someone has encountered the same problem as me.
But don't worry, you can play my character. Before the problem is solved.

In addition to the character's face, there is also the character's body. The character's body is also difficult to model...

🥹~NO! It's impossible to fool around like this for the rest of your life. Had had to come up with a way to model the character truly without relying on any deformation sliders or other people's work.

Hi there mate, I have read all the articles and questions that were posted on this site, including numerous youtube videos that always missed out with something which ended up with more errors or questions.
I did try to use facegen but it looked awful in compare to blender "face builder" addon.
Im simply trying to understand whats next: I cannot understand how to attach a ready head to an existing body without errors.
Do you have any video that maybe I missed that is doing it? or maybe just tell me what Im doing wrong in terms of my process?

I export a template character from daz to blender, In blender If Im doing to most basic morph Im getting the "geometry dont match error" when trying to get it back to Daz. Also, regarding the head - I cannot really attach a new head on a body without it looking wierd.
Thanks man
