Hello, I'm new to Vam and I would like to know if I can delete duplicate .vars without causing problems.
More specifically, those that seem to be different versions of the same file. For example:
AcidBubbles.Embody.56
AcidBubbles.Embody.57
AcidBubbles.Embody.58
AcidBubbles.Embody.59
AcidBubbles.Embody.60
Can I leave only AcidBubbles.Embody.60 and delete the rest?
Or will this cause problems when loading a scene?
Excuse my bad English, it's not my native language

You can delete them, but scenes will ask you to redownload them n many cases, if they are based on the old versions.

Solution
Embody is a plugin. The standard mode for scenes and vars is to reference plugins by exact version. If you delete the old versions, many scenes will just load the new version, but there are still problems. If you delete all the old versions, the screen where the app scans hub for missing packages will become so flooded with those deleted vars, that scan feature loses all its value. Then, it will ask to download them again, as noted.
