Background Picture/video asset

Hi,

If i have high resolution picture of TajMahal or Video and if i want to make it asset and create a new scene with background as Tajmahal, how can i do it? Do i need to learn Unity to do it or there is some easier way. There are many background video loops in 4K as .mp4 file available free on youtube, can we use those as background image?

for short videos that are used as background loops you can also try to convert them to .gif and then you can load them like any other image, the quality would be lower but it's fine for backgrounds and easy to share later on. i used to do it for animated background like https://www.redgifs.com/watch/imaginativenauticalbernesemountaindog
