Hello,

I'm thinking to enhance my VAM experiences with an auto masturbator. I see options like:

- Solace & Solace Pro from Lovense
- Keon 1 & 2 from Kiiroo
- The Handy 1 & 2 from theHandy

There are more but I guess these are the current "mainstream" options?
I understnad they have to be compatible with buttplug.io, and this seems to be the place to go to check specific toys?

That rules out the Keon 2.
Also rules out The Handy 2 but maybe only because it is not released yet.

Are there others I should be considering?

I've been looking through the forums and so far am only coming across either really old posts or links to the reddit that's been banned.

Any reviews or advice would be very much appreciated.

I had a Handy 1 for some years. Barely used it until I finally sold it a couple of months ago.
I saw, and see, people raving about masturbators, but to me it was distracting AF. The mechanical sound prevented immersion, which is what I was hoping to increase by buying it, and that was in no way compensated by the movement that felt, well, like a machine jerking me off.
Unfortunately to me these mechanical masturbators don't work, like for some VR doesn't work for them. I hope you have better luck.

Probably you should start with a mainstream one for better support and ease on use. There's multi-axis devices out there, like the OSR or what it's called, that may be able to reach new heights, but you'd likely be paying more for something more difficult to use.

Totally different experience.
I had the handy one for a couple years, and yes over time it began to feel very robotic. The handy two is available, but chose a different route. The FUNSR1 2.0. It is an osr device, but not as complicated and loud as the multi axis ones. The FSR1 is just up and down with a optional twist. Unlike the multiaxis, it uses a drone motor and produces very little sound.
Here is a link to a demo I made for a different forum. Its a quick 7min showing what can be achieved with the device and Vam.

Just get a handy or keon if you want simple mainstream. And seriously it's worth it lol. As for noise there is a little so if your going to use it in bed as most do vs. desk clamp just slap a soft pillow around it and most of the sound is gone. Take a step further and use some noise cancelling headphones and you won't hear a thing. The multi-axis stuff is a bit louder I believe and harder to smother lol.

I can tell you the Keon works perfectly fine with VamSync and Intiface through the vamlaunch plugin. There are newer plugins for the Handy, just don't have one. As far as I know many use it as well.

But if you want the full setup experience the multi-axis SR6 or OSR stuff is really cool. Yet to try though, but VAM is perfect for it since you don't have to script it.

I'd lean towards the Handy 2 as it's the leader in the space it would be my next purchase if I got a new single axis stroker or even the SR1 i think its called if it has wireless connectivity now (basically a Keon with a belt drive vs screw drive mechanics). Then if you get really into it venture into the multi-axis. Keon with the Kiiroo pillow is pretty solid for hands free in bed no complaints. I don't know what people do with the Handy for that setup outside a big monitor mount attached to the bed.
