Voithe submitted a new resource:

Atom Controller - Control Atoms in many different ways through scene triggers and UI elements.

Description

Atom Controller is the successor of my Atom Mover plugin. I changed it's name so that I have more freedom about features that can be implemented in future releases. Indeed, there are already features (like Physics Constraints) that doesn't fit well under the "Move Things" concept.

At the moment, the plugin make possible to control Atoms translation and rotation, in many different ways, through scene triggers and UI elements. It can also...

Hey Voithe, great plugin btw... I'm finding quite a few things to use it for you probably never considered, the hallmark of a great building block.

One question for you though, the 'Local (or global) Rot Offset Inc.' functions, are the increments normalized and/or bound to a fixed tick, like engine.tick or Time.deltatime? Or are they affected by the framerate?

Thanks.

Hi! Thanks for the compliments! It's always a boost when you develope things for free. ;)

A lot of time passed since the time I last worked on Atom Controller's code but... if I'm not wrong, every movement\rotation applied by AC should be framerate indipendent. This mean that the amount of space traveled by the atom in a given time should be the same, regardless of the framerate (same for the rotations).

I hope I understood your question and that this may help.

About never considered use scenarios: My focus is always to make plugins the more versatile as possible, for this very reason! I'll be happy to know how you are using it! :)

Yes, perfect! That's exactly what I was hoping for. This plugin is so bulletproof I love it. Keep up the good work man!
