Question Appearance not saving with scene

Hey all,

I'm having an issue where my characters aren't saving correctly in a scene. I make changes to their appearance, save the scene, reload it, and those changes are gone. I've attached a video to make it clear.

Anyone have any idea why this could be happening? There are no plugins in the scene.

Try loading the appearance preset on a new empty scene just to rule out other factors.
