Question Any way to control all motion/rotation with only one VR controller?

I want to be able to use a single VR controller to move forward/back/up/down/rotate in a scene.

Right now, it appears that VAM requires TWO controllers to do all these motions/rotations which is a PITA when only one hand is free in VR

Is there a plugin or way to do this?

Press and hold the analog button (depending on your controller) to grab the world.
Successfully using VAM with one controller for 2 years now

Go to user preferences > navigation and make sure "grab navigation" is not disabled. Now you only need to one button to grab/drag the entire scene around. For best results, max out the nav multiplier sliders.

oh I got the Quest 3 and was looking for a while to try and use one controller to control up and down instead of the right controller, what I did was press down on the hat switch on the controller and then at the same time the trigger button with your other finger, then for example to go down you raise your hand and pull downwards, to go up you do the opposite action while ensuring both the toggle and trigger button are depressed at the same time.
