• Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

Any more beginner user-friendly versions or variations of VAM?

Hi everyone, newbie here. I'd like to share some first impressions and hope to get some useful information.

First things first, my jaw has dropped at this project and I'd like to thank everyone involved for taking the first steps in bringing all our fantasies to life! So, please don't take any criticism as anything other than enthusiasm to see this project realise it's full potential.

Most digital products have a kind of back-end developer section, super detailed and requiring a lot of tech know-how, and then a simplified, front-end user experience where all the complex mechanisms are hidden, perhaps determined by presets or similar. The impression I get is this is a back-end program, which is my only disappointment. I find it incredibly confusing, overwhelming and impossible to focus (much of the latter is my own problem!).

Having looked around the various resources sections, I've found a few games within the game for want of a better term, that do appear to have very user friendly front-end interfaces, but the ones I've found so far feature less than impressive girls (and I haven't really got to grips with effective editing yet), and require an additional Patreon subscription. Having just paid a few hundred dollars for annual subs to both meshed and vamx, I really don't want to sign up to anything else yet.

I think it would be great if VAM and VAMX remained as they are in all their complex detailed glory in an "advanced" section, but with in instantly easily accessible, less complex front end section, with for example simplified menus like "Create Girl" > Body Edit > literally only like 10 sliders, height, weight, then just size of different body parts which just overall scale up and down that body part.

Can anyone recommend if there already is such a plug in or feature that's free or something I'm missing? I thought I was signing up to be a user of the greatest porn game experience ever, but it seems more like I've signed up to learn how to be a Unity porn game dev, which is defo a fun thing to learn, but man I'd love to have a less overwhelming way to dive straight in, because so far, the unit of effort to unit of pleasure ratio is pretty crazy right now. Stuff like having to go into a menu mid-wank to ensure the penis lines up with the vajayjay haha is quite a stress. Such a front-end product might feature a dozen or two scenes that have already been fixed up?

Anyway, again, please don't take this as anything other than enthusiasm!

Well it is the the nature of porn, everyone is using it, but no one want to pay or invest. If you look around porn games is a saturate in mediocrity, devs do the minimum, so is the user. VAM is nothing at first and then ou have an complex open world. While I do understand your criticism, vam does have a learning curve something unfair, especially if you have to pay a creator that cheat is screenshoots. If you like a dislike somethings and want to improve thing, it is important to let creator know, there is now (demo) or lite version section, it is nice for creator to know if there creation is good or bad, user friendly or not.

If a can say something about vam I don't like has a player, is there no mouse over info like any other software, what is an atom, how to focus on a character (press F on your keyboard thank you), a preset, morph!!!? But for a creator point of view, it is broken, but a very good puzzle we like.

Yeah the learning curve is steep. I think it's great that an in game economy exists where people can monetize their creations and also they can make and sell games within games, and I'll be happy to pay for stuff like that in future, I just think there should also be a nice easy, simple front-end version of VAM included in the initial sub cost. idk like maybe 10 girls to choose from in a handful of places and say 9 or 10 different actions you can enjoy and a few dances. It's very frustrating to look forward to something so much and pay for it but realise that its probably going to take a few weeks effort to get competent using it. That said, I'm completely and utterly thrilled that I'm alive to see the emergence of this magic! :)

Best way to learn how to use VaM is to load a scene from the HUB ingame and then try to understand how everything works. Or watch/read some tutorials. VaM is a sandbox so you can do "whatever" you want, that's the advantage and the disadvantage.

You wanna have freedom? You have to earn it :p
