Amazing port! Though i seem to be facing an issue where her hair does not move when i load in her hair CUA. When the model moves its just stays in place.

Hello there regguise.

Just wanted to say that I gave her a try, and her hair is missing for me (in the default scene). I do have the Look Dependency plugin installed. Curiously enough, Blazedust's CUAManager (Session Plugin) tells me it's there, in the scene; but it just doesn't visually show up (even though the asset is set to 'On' by default of course, should be showing up).

I also tried loading in the hair asset manually into the scene (by adding a Community Asset atom, and browsing to the Alma .VAR package itself), and even though the hair asset is showing in the folder structure, nothing loads up, still missing. I'm on VAM version 1.22.0.12 if it matters to mention (also using the Performance Patch, although I highly doubt that has to do with anything here).

In fact there's no errors showing in the Log upon loading the scene, everything does work, except the hair asset simply doesn't show up. Not sure what's going on. Everything else does work though. Again, I do have all the dependencies (even all the sub dependencies, it's all there and installed).

Either I'm blind and I'm forgetting something obvious, or I need some suggestions please.

EDIT: On a side note I do know the hair is a Clothing item, it's there in the Clothing items list, with the CUA Plugins attached, but it's just visually not showing up.

Hi, did you get this dependency?

Do you still have this problem? try force reload the clothing. I tried the var in my clean VaM install and it works.
If you are in VaM discord you can DM me

amazing look. Would you ever try and make Galactic Mantis from Marvel Rivals? would love to see your version of it

I had the same issue, when VaM ask me to accept or not a plugin. Don't remember which one. After I reload the whole scene, the hair is present.

Thanks!

Probably not going to port another Rivals look any time soon... I have a few projects planned that should keep me busy for couple of months lol

I also had to reload the scene a second time for the hair to show up.

Sadly I don't get how to make her hair load when I load her appareance on another scene.
I saved a vam appareance and load it, and then load a created preset in the plugin tab of the alma_hair (Stopper_ClothingPluginManager)
But it doesn't appear, just her headscarf

I also tried to save and load a preset for the StaticClothing plugin, but no changes
All the CUAClothing have no Asset, and idk where the file is

EDIT : I extracted "alma_hair.assetbundle" into my custom folder, and loaded it in one of the CUAClothing in the hair clothing
Seems to work lol, even though the hair clips into her body in some positions, idk if it's normal

There should already be a default plugin preset file in the var:

Regguise.Alma.4.var\Custom\Clothing\Female\Regguise\Alma_Hair\Alma_Hair.default.clothingplugins

You only have to save the appearance with the clothing on, no need to save the clothing manager preset, since when the hair clothing loads, it should load that default preset from the var. If you save a preset while the CUA is not properly loaded, that preset may not work.

The clothing also loads the CUA colliders that attach to the body. If those didn't load correctly, the hair will clip into the body.

I would suggest deleting the preset you saved so the clothing will look for the default one in the var.

Please give that a try and let me know.
Thanks

I did save my appereance preset with "Alma_hair" (but not her jacket), and it loads in another scene with just the headscarf, really weird
I'll try again later, thanks for confirming that's how it should be done

edit: it works with BrowserAssist appereance preset loading but not vam appereance preset (I don't have var offload feature turned on, but var management feature is on, all var enabled)

I did disable (and re-enable) that var management feature in BrowserAssist and now it loads.
I guess I'll either go through BrowserAssist (when var offload is enabled), or also fully disable it's var management feature (and not keep it enabled with "all var enabled")

Yeah thanks for reporting. DM me if you are on Discord, I want to know if there is an issue I need to fix.

Interesting... Never thought it would have that kind of interference...

Thanks for the data point. I'll do some testing myself
