Hey there,

A small issue here. Many times, when I update a plugin and load a scene with it, when the "allow/deny plugin" screen appears, it just won't go away after I click the button to allow it. I click it several times, but it just stays there. In the end I have to restart the game to get things working as normal.

Did anyone had this issue before, or has a hint/workaround for it?

Thanks!

Never, unless it's still loading the scene and temporarily hanging when I try to press the button.
VR or desktop?

Desktop. It's quite inconsistent, too. Yesterday it happened once or twice when starting VAM with new plugins, but worked fine a number of other times. Seems like a terrible problem to fix ?, so as it is quite minor we should probably not scratch our heads too much about it. I'm all ears for general pointers/ideas, though =P

Having no issues it will be difficult for me to give useful tips.
Are you often switching to other windows while VaM is running, especially at the initial load?

I also have the same problem quite often. I have to restart the game.
It won't go away. You have a small window to click it maybe 4 seconds after that it seems to stay. sometimes what you can do if it's the first time it pops up because sometimes it wont go away as it's clicked, just keep clicking until it stalls VAM and the screen goes pale with the spinning circle and wait for the screen to go back to normal. It don't take long maybe 10 sec at most.

just keep clicking until it stalls VAM

Actually, you can't click the plugin authorization BECAUSE VAM is stalled.
It's just a matter of patience, spam click is just triggering windows failsafe to kill the app because it thinks it's "crashed". If you wait until all the loading processes are done, you will be able to click it.

@MaxToMax333 - Maybe this will help. This could be related to a bug/conflict with an older version of decalmaker, which I've had this exact issue and solved it by disabling that older plugin, reloading vam, then using the latest version.

If you often run into similar issues, a simple solution is to open VAM and create a new empty atom (or another specific type if the plugin requires it) in the default empty scene, then load the new plugin once. Under this “minimal load” condition, freezing or crashes rarely occur.
However, the more proper approach is to use VAM’s built-in Hub feature to download or update plugins — it will prompt you to set the plugin’s permissions as soon as the download is complete.
