Oh! I don't get you wrong at all! ^^
But this is a discussion I had many times: VAMMoan automation works because of the audio, not the other way around. No matter how hard I would try to make an external access to the audio, people are gonna slap 11 sounds from badly mixed pornhub rips or game rips and don't understand why it sounds like crap.
There is more work in total (hours wise) on the audio files, than the code. If you botch the audio, it's not gonna sound magically nice because of VAMM.
I agree that after years, the audio has been heard dozens of times. But a good performance and the "wanted variety" of what people are asking is like a 5 digits investment just for the VA recordings.
Why do you think NOBODY has made a similar plugin? :
- The audio does not exists
- If you want the audio, it's not cheap
- There are hours of audio engineering processing (and knowledge) required
So, it's always easy to say "we don't have enough" from a player/creator perspective, but if I sent the bill for the audio and my time spent on this to anyone asking... i'm pretty sure the answer would be "ho... ha, nah it's fine like that"
It's not gonna be the same with VAMM2, but if we're comparing to VAMM1, Audiomate can (almost) pretty much do the same things. If it's for a couple of sounds you got somewhere this is good enough.
