I've watched the tutorials for adding community assets into VAM in 3D and this is FAR beyond my level right now. Is it easier to bring in a 2D image? Like a poster (I've seen that in a few scenes) or wallpaper?

Solution
There is an atom for that, with the ImagePanel you can just load an image. There is also an "emissive" version for surfaces that should not use normal scene light, like computer screens, etc

Getting the size right is a bit tricky, though. You can use the scale silders, but what they do depends on the aspect ratio of the image, which is a bit weird.
