Verified Creator policy update: ongoing free contributions
We’ve added a short section to the How to Become a Paid Creator page under “Keeping your status.”
Verified Creator status was always meant to reflect ongoing contribution to the community, not a one-time review.
The page now says so directly: Verified Creators are expected to keep releasing free work. There’s no quota and no required ratio of free to paid, but a creator who stops releasing free content entirely while continuing to sell can lose their status. If we notice this, we’ll reach out first.
This also applies to creators who received the badge through the short request for existing paid creators. If you’ve never released free content on the Hub, you can expect to hear from us.
Nothing else on the page has changed. The full policy is at https://hub.virtamate.com/threads/09-how-to-become-a-paid-creator.80136/.
