Chiming in for a broader perspective than VAM itself; even though VAM v1 is not in development anymore the way it's used continues to be in development. We see a continuation of plugin development and maturity, experimentation with looks and CUA, and more. While the platform is the same from a year ago, the content and extensions created by the community continue to provide more ways to do things, and together these create a growth in experiences available in VaM.
Whenever v2 comes out it will still take a long time to get to the stage where we are with v1 with the range of looks, plugins, hairs, etc, as those will have to be adapted or created again. It's these two sides that make VaM, the platform and community creations. Even when just one side grows, the overal VAM experience grows.
