Question Any The Handy owners using VAM?

This is true due to the way vamlaunch tries to predict the motion. Unfortunately it doesn't just pass the raw values and I have no idea why, but it leads to a delay that is very noticeable at higher speeds. There are other controller plugins but afaik none of them use direct communication...

Question Any The Handy owners using VAM?

Yeah, there's a little involved in it but basically that's what you need to do. Then you configure whether you want it to use a bounding box to track the controller or if you want it to follow along with an animation pattern.

Question Any The Handy owners using VAM?

Hi there :) I'm not familiar with a lot of creators that make scenes natively supporting the Handy, however it's relatively easy to add to any scene you want. You need to be at the creator Patreon support level though so you can make the necessary changes (and save them). Feel free to reach out...

Answered Various dependencies no longer showing up as hub-hosted, but they are?

I remember when I uploaded my first scene it did not show up as hub hosted, but only for a brief time. Other than that I've never had that happen again so I'm not sure what would cause it 🤔

Answered Mouth Open Wide morph setting value on its own when saving an appearance preset

Thank you, Atani. While VAMMoan wasn't exactly the issue, it sent me down the right path and I discovered that the real issue was the "Drive Jaw Angle From Head Audio" checkbox. Somehow it got unchecked in the presets I was using and as soon as I checked it again, resaved the preset and reloaded...

Answered Mouth Open Wide morph setting value on its own when saving an appearance preset

The thing is, even when I use VAMMoan, I never use the "enable auto-jaw animation" option. I prefer to make my own animations with head audio triggers, but the fact that it sets to that specific value intrigues me. It's definitely a weird one!

Answered Mouth Open Wide morph setting value on its own when saving an appearance preset

This makes an interesting case for the situation though! That specified value is part of what's been driving me nuts, so this gives me an avenue to take. Thank you, Atani!

Answered Mouth Open Wide morph setting value on its own when saving an appearance preset

Thanks for the reply :) I tried this one too, as well as messing around with the jaw spring/damper and still no dice. It's a real head scratcher! The strange thing is, it doesn't seem to matter what I do, it always sets that precise value of 1.250 on that one morph. It's so incredibly weird...

Unfortunately that didn't resolve it. Tried creating a completely new scene with no other atoms and all plugins disabled and had the same problem :/

Answered Mouth Open Wide morph setting value on its own when saving an appearance preset

Thanks for the reply, Macgruber :) I suppose it could be. The only plugin loading in the scene I was using is Timeline, but I do have session plugins. I'll give it a try with those all disabled and see if that fixes it.

Answered Mouth Open Wide morph setting value on its own when saving an appearance preset

I'm having an issue with appearance presets where I create it, save it, then when its loaded the Mouth Open Wide value randomly sets to 1.250. I've looked in the json file and there's nothing set for that morph. I made sure that all defaults for presets are using the built-in defaults and not...

Answered Various dependencies no longer showing up as hub-hosted, but they are?

Now that @bill_prime has come up with completely different results I am thoroughly confused as to why myself and @coll69 are still having the problem. I assume that there are redundancy measures in place since the site is used all over the world. Perhaps there's been a delay or some other hiccup...

I just tried it with your VAR and got the same "not on hub" results that I got with mine. Weird!

Answered Various dependencies no longer showing up as hub-hosted, but they are?

@meshedvr I just created a brand new scene with nothing but an empty atom with the linear animation plugin from LogicBricks and received the same "Not On Hub" result. I modified the meta file and json to point to LogicBricks.latest instead of LogicBricks.12 and I'm still getting version 8...

Answered Various dependencies no longer showing up as hub-hosted, but they are?

@meshedvr I just checked with the scene that @coll69 posted with nothing but an empty atom containing a state machine and I'm still getting this on a clean install of VaM: When Selecting LogicBricks from MacGruber's list of resources, it does resolve the correct URL now from the hub website...

Answered Various dependencies no longer showing up as hub-hosted, but they are?

@MacGruber @meshedvr I also tried rolling back the scene I was working on to Logic Bricks 9 to see if that could resolve the issue, but I had the same results pulling that one from the hub too from a clean install of VaM. Going back to LogicBricks.12, scenes like this one seem to be pointing...
