Both LUTs and Lighitng are essential to create a nice atmosphere... but... how you deal with them?
I mean... a LUT changes the overall colors of the scene... including the lights color. So... what's your way to balance them?
Any advice is appreciated. :)
I think that there are a lot of not optimized plugins that eat memory. If you keep open the new Performace Tab in the VaM UI, you can see the mermoy heap growing by himself.
If @meshedvr could add a digit after the decimal point of the measurement (made it more precise), i think that users and...
Hi Mac! I just want to say that your replies are always the most usefull!
Seriously! I think that i learned more fundamental things of VaM from a couple of your replies than from the whole forum.
Thank you!
I'm on a Quest 2. I want to hear VaM audio from (let's say) my desktop speakers instead of the quest builtin speakers... any way to do this?
Changing the windows output device seems to not work. If i set "Oculus Virtual Audio Device" or any other devices, nothing changes in VaM... but it works...
Yeah... the locks works only on the controllers. Not on the actual rigid body. I think what you asking is not possibile atm. If your atom is some sort of "disc" you can try to add invisible cubes on the sides (for collision) but... i think that such scenario is a pain for physics computing...
I totally agree with you. This is the only reason I bought a Quest 2. At the moment, it's the best headset when you consider the overall balance of features (and price, of course).
I'm happy to know that REALLY cool headsets are coming this year. Can you give us some more info about it? I could...
By default, the in-game hub browser only shows the resources hosted on the hub. The one you linked in not (it don't have the "Hub-Hosted VAR" Tag).
That said... you can still browser not Hub-Hosted VAR by changing the filtering options on the left of the in-game hub browser, but... it's not...
Heh! Time... is the real problem...
I was asking for something simpler... if it can be done with the vanilla functions. If i have time... i can do the plugin myself.
I have seen that there is a way to parent Atoms to the camera rig but... it seems to not work correctly. Think i'll try a...
So... my scene is becoming complex and, since i don't have a VR Headset, i really really really (did i say "really"?) NEED the UI Atoms like UIButton, UISlider, etc. to stay on the HUD.
Anyway possible?
