Made friends test it, no issue whatsoever. I grabbed the hub version and tested it, no issue either. This is definitely on your end.

I've tested the .6 on my end no issues. I'm gonna grab the hub's one just to be sure, but my current release has no issue apparently. So I don't know what's going on on your end.

This probably isn't the full message (even the bottom part of your post) as the meta says for the plugin: You VAM is obsolete, some functions requires VAM to be up to date (since a long time now). Most plugins nowadays require an up to date VAM.

Why would they need to include the plugin? The plugin is simply ensuring everything works, you'll have a reference to the plugin, everyone will simply load your presets and it should work. (unless I'm missing something you have in mind)

Generally baked probes are not recommended for VAM. As they are not really really nice resolution wise. But I'm pretty sure they don't cast shadows. Maybe the enviro as an integrated light (which is also not recommended :p)

It's not "specks" it's the soft shadowing technique used that produces that effect. You can eventually slightly lower the effect by tweaking your light distance, your light type and your light intensities and shadows.

You cannot consider an animation like a "start to end" thing. You need to understand that an animation can swap to any other animation either mid way through or at the end (depending on the configuration of the anim set). You're not in a "offline" software (like Blender), the logic of Timeline...
