Guides How to use Blender to sculpt.

That's a great tutorial. I've done it myself in the past with facegen and Blender. I also used kentools facebuilder then exported it to zbrush so I could use Zwrap and get a perfect look-alike face . After many attempts I have to say though, what I get inside VAM is never as good as what I see...

    Looks Ankha

I used a guide by OniEkohvius, but it does not seem to exist anymore. I have the guide still but I'm not sure if i should share it. I think you can shrinkwrap a Gen2Female onto a blender model in blender and then manually sculpt the model afterwards. I used wrap 2020 to do esentially the same...

I will be adding custom keybinding settings.

Another VaM alternative for animation motion capture ?

Ops I didn't indicate that the type of software is more like motion capture in VR (like VaM with vr+ plugin timeline). On Blender or others, I haven't seen any addon or other that would allow you to animate in real time in VR.

    Genital G2F

You should export your model into Daz and then export it out to Blender. Make whatever changes you need there (without changing vertices count) and then export your morph back into Daz. Save it as a morph asset which can then be interpreted by VAM.

Can someone please port this model over

It's not a direct port. You can only add morphs to the Genesis 2 Female model in vam, so I sculpted that in blender and texture painted it, then remeshed the top and added it through daz3d. What assassins creed models did you want?

Guides Your EndAllBeAll guide to Wrapping!

There's already a guide on the hub that has a blender template to convert g8 to g2 and vice versa. I've been using it for textures and such, it's not perfect but it's great! Although wrapping textures in WRAP4D would be better.

Trying to get slim down that back bulge! Morph name : "basicmodel-backfix-1" Uploading my first morph and I'm not sure if I packaged it correctly. If it doesn't work let me know! This is just the morph and not the model Quick Note: I tend to overshoot things in blender when making morphs...

Question a model based on a photo?

This is probably the best way to create a head from a photo. But I don't know if it's possible to export from this Blender program to our VAM game.

    Plugins + Scripts BlenderMate

This is amazing! Came back to VaM after forever just in time, poor controls made it difficult. Do you have any plans to add a trackball rotation mode? Similar to double-pressing R in Blender. Edit: Also, potentially view snapping? Numpad buttons to snap the view to axis, or like pressing 0 to...

Question How to solve the problem of mismatch between character texture and uv

There are a set of seam guides you can use to adjust your textures to fit the base female uv. It doesn't matter that your texture fits the mesh you created in blender. To use it in Vam, it has to match the target uv.

Guides VAM / DAZ Gen2 to Substance Painter UDIM guide

yeah, Blender and UDIM seems to be allways WIP, it seems. It changed somewhat from the version I used when I created the guide, and the recent version of Blender (v3.3.1). Now, you will need to change the image format in the sidepanel on the UV window (press "n" when the mousecursor is in the UV...

Question Questions regarding the importation of clothing.

I'm trying to customize a set of clothing for a character, but when I import it into VAM using the clothing importer, I notice a lot of irregular deformations occurring. When I attempt to add subdivision to the clothing in Blender, the situation worsens. I want to understand what's causing...

Height Maps do you even lift bro?

By the way, I just noticed that some of my normal maps from Photoshop and Blender looked odd in VAM. So here is a short guide on how a correct Virt-A-Mate normal map is supposed to look like: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/normal-maps-in-vam-101.418/ tl;dr: Check that none of your channels...
