I have run into this error personally with other scenes. I've had varying success with the following fixes: delete the .var file for Stopper's plugin and replace it, update VaM through the VaMUpdater.exe file in your install folder, or completely reinstall the game instance. I think this error...

Do you have VAMOverlays installed? There is a setting in the VAMOverlays plugin to fade in on load. If it is not installed, the SceneLoad logic brick cannot initialize completely. If that isn't the issue, I would ask that you open VAM's error log and send a screenshot of whatever messages appear (y)
