I have found v24 to be the best version. I've never tried to use Plugin Presets though, I'd assume there would be a variety of problems that could occur depending on the Skin that is selected, as the plugin will initially loads itself based on the current Skin(UV) that is in use. So loading that...
Can this be used just to record a walk animation into timeline, and then remove this plugin afterwards to save resources? I'm hoping to use this just to record someone walking from one place to another, as walking animations take forever to do manually.
@PluginIdea First I want to say, Great plugin! I was wondering if there was a possibility to incorporate this with a DSLR asset?
It would be awesome to see this plugin being used with this https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/functional-dslr-all-in-one.5827/ asset.
For a Photo Studio scene where...
Colliders seem to be working fine for me.
As a separate thing:
I have noticed that if you upgrade from a previous version to v27, and if the female gen was being used(visible) previously, when you enable the newer version it auto selects all the previously used options and applies it to the new...
As a suggestion/request: I know I've asked this in the past, when this was still really early on in development. But I was wondering if you have had a chance to look in to it yet, or if it's still on the to-do list?
It's current the only lacking feature(IMO) that stands out to me.
As it is...
I feel like there must be a limit? Cuz I have 32GB's of RAM. I am also quite sure I would have seen other issues with my OS responding abnormally during the crash, which I didn't. When VaM froze(both times) before it had displayed the crash message, I had opened task manager, and pulled up a...
This is the first crash where I loaded several scenes consecutively:
And this is the second crash: One CUA, one subscene with 1 person and a few animationpatterns.
Alright, So I'll post the two crash logs here. They're the result of two different actions taken within VaM which I'll explain below. They are pretty fkn lengthy lol. I had to upload them as attachments as they are too long to post in here.(was getting error saying my message was too long when I...
Yes I do have one from each of the two crashes. Is there a particular part you are looking for from it? It contains some personal info, so I wouldn't post it without sifting through the whole thing first. It does note that my systems total physical memory used at the time of crash was only 59%.
So, it's happened twice now, since using this patch, VaM has crashed on me. The error is Too Many Heap Sections have been reached. I've never gotten this error before using this patch.
Once it happened after loading a few scene consecutively one after another, yesterday.
And just now it happened...
So, Just for the hell of it, I went and downclocked my CPU back to Factory 3.7GHz. Gots the same FPS, just worse Timings.
Gonna go OC it back to 4.55GHz
Will Resizable BAR do anything in VaM?
I'm running 1080p benchmark right now. Will update this post with results momentarily. But right now I'm like 100+ more FPS then when in 4k res.
Alright, so I may have accidentally adjusted the window screen size during the benchmark, and it caused a hickup. But either way, there is definitely...
Ya, IMO It's not worth dropping HT or SMT just for VaM. I mean unless your using your PC Only for VaM, then sure? But I'd hope that's not the case, no offense to anyone :p
Despite the Baseline 3 Benchmarks (in my particular case) showing no real improvement in FPS, I just wanted to point out how crazy responsive many various tasks have become since adding this patch. From simple things like opening menus, to loading scenes, to even saving a scene. That transitions...
Did a fresh install of VaM, and did the benchmark with this patch applied, with the default 5900x .ini and there wasn't really much of a change. A little bit in some areas, but unfortunately the same results as my existing VaM directory.
EDIT: The patch is working well. I'm just not seeing a...
So I've ran the benchmark again with Vsync enabled, I also disabled my other monitors, and still got virtually the exact same results. Set vsync to Fast, still same results. I'm not really sure whats up :p My FPS in everything else often seems to be actually higher then what most people report...
I actually do have Vsync disabled in VaM, and Nvidia has it set to application controlled. Cuz often Vsync doesn't benefit me in like 90% of games, so I always turn it off, as it uses up some resources. I'll enable it here and see if my FPS goes up in the benchmark?
However, It doesn't "look"...
Hey, Sorry for the delay, just got around to trying this out again.
So, I closed out of Discord, which was the only thing open when I did the other benchmarks, and set MaxPerChar back to 6 instead of 8, this was the results.
And this was the result of the benchmark with:
[threads]...
Awesome patch! I tried it out, things appear to be far more smooth in my own custom scenes, however, I'm not really seeing any FPS increase. More just FPS or Physics stability. I ran the benchmark 3 times through with various options as marked below, and oddly enough my FPS actually seems to be...
